Just this weekend we had a couple ejected from a local pub here for petting in public. There was no sex involved they were just swapping spit in a back corner. So where do you guys stand on the issue of petting in public? Is it ok or should it be taken home and kept there?

hahahhaha.....i think PDA's (public displays of affection) are ok in a mild form but if it is like really heavy or really sexual than it should be left for home and at the back of theatres...thats where i do it anyways

I think people should show some flexbility in this as long as there no sexual actions involved. Usually it's sour people who don't have a very good relationship themselves who are envious of other people being happy in their relationship and eagerness to show it.

i agree with that....i sometimes get jealous if im in a particularily lousy mood or whatever....otherwise i laugh at tham and if im in a car we honk at them

Twitch, showing your honesty is noble of you. I think laughing and honking is pretty ok! :)

PDA's (as Twitch pointed out how our generation calls them) are fine in my book. If you don't like seeing them just don't watch, no one's forcing you to.

As for having my own PDAs: to me the best kisses, hugs, and "I love you's" are the ones that you get/give when you least expect it. Generally that can tend to be in public. Therefore....well I think you get where I'm going.

Here's me always thinking a PDA is a personal organizer :)
