View Full Version : Under, Over Or Whatever
I know these sisters who argue about this point to the ground! They even switch the paper when they go to eachother's house. [They in their 50s]. Paper towels, Toilet paper, any paper on a roll.
Where do you stand on the great paper debate! Paper rolling over [on top] or under [from underneath]?

i don`t give a fling which way the paper is facing, just as long as it`s there when i need it. i hate to sit on the pot and find that there is no paper on the roll

I go thru so much TP, It hardly ever stays on the roll...But if I put in on, I don't pay attention.

hey- hey- hey, ya`ll just wait till ya go to the big house and god shows up in a pickup truck and tell ya to get in the back... ha ha
I'll have to agree with MinorJoe's first reply: Just let it be there! :D
Mine's on it's side next to the toilet as we speak, I can be a lazy bastard at times.

tp has to be coming down from the top
it doesnt hang the other way
this is even assuming i've put it on the holder ; )

Well I think you have to have it hanging clockwise here in England? otherwise you're attacked after midnight by goblins and demons working for Satan himself!!! Scary stuff....Just going for a crap here!!!!!!!

Hi all, just thought I'd revive the most ancient post I could find (Yes, I'm that bored). Don't hate me for it!
I don't really care which way the paper rolls as long as it rolls. Have you ever been in a crapper where the paper has one of those dispensers that tears the paper after 1 or 2 sheets? That SUCKS!
Hehehe. I dont mind people reviving threads at all! They're new to the people now. :D
It has to be over for me. I've always been that way.
Um... the TP roll has no holder, so it sits on top of a shelf near the toilet--wind it any way you wish! The paper towel migrates about the apartment (again, with no holder), so anyone can use that as they like too.
If we had it, I might prefer the TP under, but I doubt it'd make a difference to me enough to switch it even in my own place--and I honestly don't care about which way the paper towel would hang. Here they have upright holders for those, anyway.
OVER!!!
Over over over over over over over over over.
OVER OVER OVERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Under is just wrong. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong!!!

It sits on either the back of the toilet or on the counter next to it.
It's going down the shitter anyways, why play fancy? ^_^
Whichever way I hang it.....TP normally doesn't stay on the wall very long...Drew can go through TP like crazy...and sometimes I just get so lazy i'll set it on the tub next to the toilet. Bishop generally gets it down anyway..so what's the point in hanging it up..?
What if it has a sideways mount?
* LK runs and hides... It's still OVER - just turned sideways. :p
* entipy thwaps LK

I'd rather just have it on the back of the toliet, but the GF insists that it stay on a roll. And I have noticed where a roll lasted a week at least before, now only lasts 3-4 days. What changed you ask? I LIVE WITH A FRIGGIN WOMEN. I swear she uses 6584368759632 squares everytime she goes. I dunno, its just a pet peeve of mine, no need to use half the roll per round at the toliet

Over.
I change it at my mum's house as my sister (who lives there) is an under.
I'm an OVER.
In a big way.
I'd change it in a stranger's house.
It just BUGS me.
Over.
I'd change it in a stranger's house.
*smirks* I've done that too. Have you ever been caught doing it?

Yeh...this one time (at band camp)
I'd come out of the bathroom, after CORRECTING the FAULTY item and a minute later, the owner went in and...
tick..
tick..
tick..
You could hear him from the bathroom go "DUDE...Did you...WHAT THE FUCK????" And laughing his head off.
Over. Under just drives me crazy. I've even crossed my boundaries as a guest and put it the way I thought, and got much the same reaction as WC....except for my friend decided to show everyone at the party "just how picky Jake is". Fucker.

I think if someone did that to me I would replace all the toilet paper with a large bowl of cotton balls in each bathroom. Figure out the proper way THAT'S supposed to roll....
Simple... twist them together OVER the toiletpaper roll. :rude:

LoL! I'm an over. I do change it when I go to other people's houses. I have had only one instance where someone noticed it, and they just changed it and said their reason was so that it was always hanging down instead of getting stuck to itself. Which is a load of bull....it's perfect OVER.

hmmm well if I put it up I will put it so the paper goes over, but it doesent matter that much to me, as long as there is paper Im happy :D
It's just SUPPOSED to go OVER. Period. If it goes under, it doesn't rip off properly without having to two-hand it. Who wants to do that????
* entipy has also changed it at a stranger's house... many many moons ago... in a galaxy far far away...

Over, under, sideways, down....
I'd say "Who GIVES a shit" but obviously we ALL do(o-doo).
Women use more TP for a REASON- we have an extra orifice to wipe & keep clean, else we'd be getting complaints as to our smell. Also- WE like to be CLEAN! Men seem to not care if they get skidmarks in their shorts all the time, probably because THEY don't have to do the LAUNDRY! :rude: :rude: :rude:
