One thing that I like about NCT is the way people post to talk, and not just for points. Keep this in mind.

Many boards have point systems that give people stars after a certain amount of posts. I don't mind them as long as someone doesnt start posting just to get a star.

Since this is a community and we should work together on making decisions... I would like your imput. Should we or shouldn't we start a point system?

I think the way it's set up now works just fine. I think you'll get a bunch of nothing posts if you do something like that. Besides, I post one liners so often, I would hate for someone to call me a post whore because of it. It doesn't seem to bother people when you're not posting for points, etc.

Don't think stars would add much, maybe some more user 'classes'. I don't want to be a soldier all my life. Where's my next rank? :D

Stars are pretty pointless. Those sites that do have them don't really get anything from it. more ranks would be remotely interesting, but it's all rather trivial.
