I just don't understand advertising these days. My mailbox is filled with ads, I get people calling on the phone, and then there is the ever popular pop ups online. I think people should have a right as to whether or not they get advertizements shoved down their throat.

Yesterday I damn near threw away an important letter, because it was wrapped in some advertisement. Luckily, Butch tipped the trash and knocked all the contents out. :rolleyes: There has got to be something we can do to slow down this waste of paper and time.

It can be so frustrating. Long time readers know the hell I have gone through with AOL and AT&T. They are the bane of my existence. I just went to my mailbox today and threw away 3/4 of the contents. All junk.

Ditto... we're rural, therefore we pick up mail at the post office. There is a garbage can right by the door, that is always, I mean always, full to the top, with shit that no-one ever reads. If that's the way it is, so be it, but I've also almost thrown away 'real' mail, as have many friends. (I routinely throw out bills, and use this as an excuse)

One of these days I'm going to put it in a big ole box and send it back. If that doesn't work, then I'll send it to the governor.
