Here's the story (http://www.startribune.com/stories/462/3334453.html): Student takes class. Student stalks teacher. Student kicked out of school. Student goes on internet and says techer likes little boys. Teacher sues her ass and wins $3 million. This is where I come in.
I am all for freedom of speech both in general and on the web. But there are people who think that they can say whatever they want and not be penalized, because it's 'the web'. That's bullshit. Slander is slander. Whether you write it or type it, the malous is still the same. There are some arrogant f*ckers out there who think they can do and say whatever they please, without any worry of recourse. Biteme. :finger: The web isn't a playtoy. It is a means of information, business, communication and enjoyment. The scary part is that there are adults who think that they can just go on the web and lie and stalk and harrass. So many people worry about children on the web that they forget about the real menace. I'm just glad that the laws are finally coming into the 21st century. Now if we can only get those upskirt guys. :finger:
