Welcome, OzBlonde, it's good to meet you:
I used to sell nails for a living, funnily enough. They came in all sizes: 1 inch, 2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch, 5 inch, 6 inch. And in all shapes, too: clout nails, annular rim nails, galvanized, ovals and lost heads.
Amaurote falls into a sensual reverie and promptly drowns
Allow me to introduce Amaurote... The card. He and Hollowearth are the resident joksters. Guess which one is the prankster?

Its no great mystery I was on my bosses computer one day and I clicked on a link (I think thats what they are called) and it took me to snuffx I was looking around there and found the forum and another australian. I used to read the things aussie wrote and then he stopped going there. I clicked on a link? on one of the things he wrote and that took me to monochromism. I liked that place a lot but I never joined I wrote on one of the topics one day and al dogg and aussie got really mad at me and called me names and stuff so I didnt write any more I just used to look at the pictures and read every thing. Then one day I was watching when aussie told kitty kat about this place (he said it was new and every thing he wanted) so I came here and mostly everyone was friendly and nice so one day I registered and here I am. So there you have it mystery solved. I like it here! :)

Ozblonde - was that the world-famous Indians thread, by any chance? I remember it well - particularly since it was the first time that Hollowearth was referred to as "Hollowarse" in an online forum, and the first (but not the last) time I was called "Spermbreath"...!
I always assumed that Bella was Kitty Kat.
someone called you spermbreath? how awfull who did that?

I don't know - it was in my comments folder, and Toth designed the folder to ensure that all the comments were made anonymously. I was responsible for two or three of the comments in Aussie's book - "Alf From Home and Away" and "Couldn't Give A Castlemaine XXXX for anything else" were mine as I recall.
there was some different things in those folders wasnt there. I seem to recall being a bottom feeder my self along with a few others. Whilst sperm breath is a known favorite of mine I honestly dont recall ever posting it as your adjective

I was quite proud of "spermbreath", actually. I was responsible for most of the imposture on Mono towards the end, but I only started having real fights on Akpcep when I started posting there. I sabotaged quite a few comments folders on Mono, including Hollowearth's, who in turn sabotaged mine. My favourite on mine was "Should probably have lived in the nineteenth century", which I suspect was the work of the nefarious Hollowearth. He was certainly responsible for "fudge-packer".
Amaurote shakes fist at Hollowearth
there was some great ones there wasnt there I had a ball with lucys and villagers I seem to remember vill getting a bit upset at one in his folder and blaming Al_Dogg for it I still snikker at that one. Im sure you understand that one "fudgepacker"

You can't post on board and expect not to have aspersions cast on your sexuality, that's my motto. Besides, I seem to recall declaring Al-Dogg dead on three separate occasions. Poor Jim's comment book was filled with death threats, in fact :)
Now you can see what mono was like at certain key points in history without pictures, css and sadly profile comments. Although you can read old versions of some messgae baord threads
actually some of the pictures still work as well

Ah, I see - that was the first incarnation. Alex replaced Ryan thereafter, and the DemonAnton-LucifersChild rivalry predated the Shogun-LucifersChild rivalry that followed.

And, thanks to the fact that Home and Away is filmed near Sydney, you, too, can now speak exactly like Aussie...

"Sausage-jockey" is my favourite insulting colloquialism for male homosexuality; "fudge-packer" would be a close second, and third place would probably go to "brown hatter." "Sperm-breath" is pretty damned good, though...
cant say I didnt get a few laughs reading those comments or even adding a few. The strange thing is the one person I really should have messed with I didnt I never put a thing under poor jims. Oh well life is full of regrets

Well, you did tell him you wanted to kill him, so that's some small consolation, eh? ;)

kind of sounds like the old folks home dosnt it :) Every one saying remember when reminising is great I love it. Its plain that all you people still carry an affection for one another and thats great I regret now that I never became part of that group but at least now I can hope to forge new friendships here and become part of this group.
Aussie where do I find all those smilie faces and how do I use them?

Oz, Aussie has sooooo many smilies..... Maybe he will put up a site... :kissy:
Welcome Oz! I missed out on Mono. I didn't find all of these great people until I stumbled upon another site that led me here. Your thread brought some of what appears to be some great moments at Mono. Thanks!
