given the situation, some of the nuns felt that perhaps it would be appropriate to open up a bottle of spirits that had been given as a gift. they heated up some milk for the Mother and proceeded to liberally spike it.
Mother Superior took some tentative sips and then began to drink with enthusiasm. Before they knew it, she had emptied the glass.
One of the sisters asked Mother Superior if she had any final words of wisdom. She feebly rose up in her bed, pointed out the window to the pasture and exclaimed "Don't sell the cow!!!"
