View Full Version : Friends Or Family?
Well, the holidays are almost upon us *Chuckles as people frantically click on the calendar*, and I'll start to hear the comfort stories. "Oh, you're not spending it with family? You are so lucky... Last year Uncle Tim shoved dad's face in the yams and he got marshmellows stuck up his nose..." and so on, and so forth.
who do you prefer to spend the holidays with? Family? Friends/Loved one? Or by yourself? Any particular reason why?
Any funny stories to tell?
Just the loved one will do thank you :)

Both if I could. But the tradition is most go with the family. I try to hit about 3 or 4 thanksgivings if I can. "High, I brought the Deviled eggs and beer." Nah, just kidding. I only party at the friends thanksgivings cuz the ma and pop don't like my habit. he he. I wonder why? And my dude's family has thanksgiveth at noon, so I can't really be slammin beers in the morning trying to eat and drink at the same time. it's too filling! Not to mention too early.
Jenn, any place that you are is sure to be a ball!!
Galdiator, I'm glad that you are spending the holidays with family. I think they'll enjoy it more than you think!

Ha Ha. I am going to forward this to my daughters, they already paranoid, at my attendance.
Why? What do you usually do on holidays?
I've always been into the family for holidays. Partly because we've always been close, partly because I want to be there so they don't start gossiping and planning out my life for me.

Yes. I managed to get to a bar and have a few laughs with some cool people and my dude picked me up at closing time. I'm just going to hope for the best (heaven) And I hope they're having a cold one and dancing in circles. My best friend passed from lung cancer in October and her dog jumped in the ambulance with her when it started. defended her to the end. Now I have a pup who likes beer too and is getting somewhat trained. slowly but surely. And I hope I will have the same luck when my time goes. We're all quiting cigs on the June 9, her Bday. Hard, but worth it! ;)
I take it June 10th there won't be much room in the 'closet'.... ;)
