View Full Version : I Know Why The Singing Bird Is Caged
I am not a morning person. Until I've had my coffee and woken up a bit, chit chat is not on my list of things to do. I'm sure everyone has that perky person that says hi like they are being goosed. Well mine entered my cubicle this morning for no other reason than to... talk. I had to use every ounce of strength that I had to not haul off and whack that perky smile off of her face. I hate mornings.
I can stay up all night long, and sleep half the day away and be just fine. What about you? Are you a loathsome morning creature :D ? Or do you do best after the sun goes down?
Morning sucks and evening rules in my case. Not that I am a grumpy person in the morning but rather 'slow' to put it mildly. Oh and I have always been in love with my bed :)
I'm an evening person. In the morning I just need to sit and drink my coffee. One of the kids made a sign that says: "Warning! Check Coffee Level Before Approaching" and it has a place where I move the amount up and down. :cheesy:

Well I admire you. After 35 yrs working, I have never done one rewarding career. Just satisfying ridiculous overated and arrogant cutomers. I hope one day to start to do charitable work, indeed my wife is currently training to do voluntary work at the local Hospice.
Bravo Jake, I salute your efforts.
Thank you, Gladiator. The biggest reward is seeing a kid leave here a young adult and succeed. I wouldn't mind the perk of not having to wake up to an alarm clock, like Aussie. My puppy, Butch kills any hope of that happening.
