If you know me there is not much that makes me get upset. I am pissed now!! Why is that people with more money than God donate so little? For example: The BackDoor Boys lost a member of there stage crew (some construction guy) in one of the planes that went into the WTC. Those fags donate 10,000 dollars to the relief fund!!!! Fucking fags there lame ass wheels on their cars cost more then that.
Lets see if Tiger steps up to the plate. Where is Billy Gates?

I may be into porn,
but I have a heart

It's funny how people give in so many ways. Our Red Cross and my hospital are actually asking people to wait to to donate blood because they will need it over a long period of time. Aussie's donating tonight, as a matter of fact.

Here are people giving blood, doctors, nurses, rescue workers, etc... taking off from their jobs and leaving their loved ones to help in the rescue effort... Giving what they can to help complete strangers. While the band isn't obligated to give money, it's the one thing that will help to clean up the streets and start to re-build again. And they do have the money, that's true. I am just as interested in seeing how the rich and powerful help their fellow man.

I know how frustrating it can be at times. Knowing that someone has the money but wont contribute. But the bottom line is that it's their money. The public gave it to them. If you feel strongly about this, boycott their CDs. I'm already on the band wagon. I don't buy them. So count me in!

Why does everything come down to the $ with You yanks, you're supposed to be the richest nation on this earth, yet your knocking a charity donation given out of kindness! $10,000 could get me plenty drunk for many a moon!
Will you be quick to refuse others hard earned cash? These people have made a gesture! It don't make a difference what value it is. The point is that they have done it, whether people give blood, offer their sevices, or just give cash! these people are all helping so lay off with the "they only give $10,000 out of their earnings" They give something to it for fucks sake!

You know there are lot of wealthy people that give so much but they remain nameless. I supose because of bone-heads thinking that it wasn't enough. GET OVER IT!!!

you put it so much better than I Redallnite; as the saying goes "Charity begins at home" do not depair at this post! I suspect it's the anger and rage comming through here. Money does'nt solve all problems, but it does help somewhat in aid and relief for the victims. The phrase "A camel and the eye of a needle" is something to be considered here!
Would Mr Deep consider donating everything he owns to the cause? or would he stop at half of what he has? A tenth maybe? stop whining man!!!
This is a goodwill gesture it's been brought to our attention by you Mr Deep! nobody else.
Don't buy their C.D's if it makes you feel better. I have never bought a C.D in my life, all my stuff is from MP3 sites or warez sites. Your'e the one sending the negative vibes here with this post! Your telling people with this thread that ten grand ain't enough. It's a free country over there let people choose to donate what they want. I see you never mentioned in the thread how much you donated Mr Deep!!!!!

re: giving blood

the RC is balls to the wall right now with more than they can possibly process

my hope is folks will still be turning out in droves 8, 13, 25 weeks from now

re: money

the thing i cant figure out is i've seen some sizeable donations coming in from companies that are supposed to be financially 'struggling'

where the hell did they get the money??? and why is it they can find the money when 5,000 people are involved, but they cant be bothered to find the money when it would mean keeping 150 employees working and paid

I would give blood but they simply won't take it.{High blood P and Cancer}.But I have encouraged all of my fellow workers to, And 8 of 14 have. God bless them for this. As far as donations go I do believe that most of America will continue as I and all of my friends have. The amount is not so important as is the destination of the cash. The fact is though that we will all donate our monies to this war and hopefully make the world a safer place although I've watched the war on drugs to a fruitless failure.
Extreme action needs to happen to complete this.
My opinion is that the world is now a very different place and WE as a world community will "Donate" our lives in the process.
May the good LORD Bless us all whoever your god may be to you.
