Superstitions

I broke a mirror the other day and the first thing that came to my mind WASN'T to make sure no glass was on the floor. The first thought was, "Oh no! Seven [more] years of bad luck!" I'm not even superstitious, per say.

Do you ever give in to superstitions or old wives' tales? Which ones do you automatically react to?

Shit, I don't have any.......except the karma thing, but my mom is a FREAK about them......If she drops a knife, company's coming...she knocks on wood.....If her palm itches she's getting money.....Oh, she told us when we moved in our house we need a loaf of bread, salt, and a broom......???? Man, she's got so many more it's crazy.....Now, I'll have to ask her about all her little "things"

You bet I do. I knock on wood all the time. Hell, it doesn't hurt. I'd be thinking about the broken glass too. Seven years... Damn! That's why I hate walking into China shops. It's funny though. I don't really believe in most of it, either... Or do I?

You what's even worse? If I resize a picture and it comes to 666kb, I'll change it. Same with adding things.
