We've been playing a lot of Fable 2 on the XB360 and last night my character opened one of the Demon Doors and was given a cute little cottage. The nicest part was that it was all by itself. I started thinking about how nice it would be to live somewhere away from all the noisy neighbors. No more loud/drunken people standing outside our window and talking at 3am. No idiots on crotch rockets revving their engines as they fly down the street at 1am. No morons who can't seem to move their ass from their car to get to the door and instead rely on the horn to tell them they're waitin. Then I remembered of all the horror films I've watched over the years. Cozy getaway = psycho/monster magnet. It's amazing how movies end up shaping our lives and for me... choices. While some may jump at the chance to live in a secluded place I can't imagine doing it. I'd be like the crazy old guy that greets you with a gun and growl. Rather... Jake would do that and I would be hiding behind some furniture shouting at him to 'Shoot it in the head!'. Yeppers, they're won't be many Mary Kay saleswomen coming to our house.
