Shant Be Long
There are a couple of ways we can deal with life. You can jump in and swim like hell. You can stick your toe in to test the temperature and for sharks. Or you can sit on the beach and wave at everyone while making sandcastles. I dove in, myself. Life just seems more worthwhile that way. I've lived three lives and I'm halfway into my fourth. The key? No regrets. You make a mistake, accept that and then move on. Wrong move? Learn from it and then move on. Don't look back and never do something just for someone else. I have tried that route and all it brings is misery and blame. I went to a Sushi bar, even though I hate fish and turned so green someone thought I was Wasabi. Damn near punctured a lung trying to dip their food. Nasty shit. I don't want to hear whining. I should have/could have/would have. Bullshit. You sat on the beach and played in the sand. You made a wrong decision? Fine. Mourn and then get over it. You gonna sit on the sand and mope, watching your life pass you by over one mistake? Open your eyes, man. There's a whole world out there waiting to be discovered. No one. And I mean NO ONE is worth throwing your life away. If you buy a box of pretzels and one breaks... are you going to throw away the whole box?
News~N~Stuff!
Moose falls through house roof, rescued with crane (picture). Bullwinkle? Drug fueled sex romp between British men mistaken for terrorism, F-16s scrambled. Starts to say something, thinks better of it... Al-Qaida suspect blows self to bits with grenade when cornered by security force. How considerate of him... Crook shaves off eyebrows before police lineup to avoid being recognized. This is the criminal mind at work...
