No going over to non-church people's houses unless my Mother "really" knew their mother.
No going to the mall by yourself.
No talking on the phone after 7:00 PM.
No internet after 9:00 PM on a weekend.
No internet after 8:30 PM on a weeknight.
No ... no... no... to pretty much EVERYTHING because I was the oldest and had to be the one to break my parents in....

Hmmm when I got my first car my dad would check the mileage..he knew how far it was from home to work and back and i better not even think about being over that 15 miles when i got home. My dad kept me caged up when I was a kid..a lil overprotective which is prolly why i went nuts when i got out of the jail cell he had me in.

rules--
i have to say i grew up with 2 parents that are still married and in love (i know not the normal)--also was the 3rd and a boy --so i got to do things like stay out later than my sister wheni was 14 and she was 16-- reasoning was i stayed in neighbourhood and she drove--yes unfair--but it was swayed my way so i didn't argue--plus i could have friends over for weekend--granted they lived next door or just down the road and parents knew-- i would occosionally sneak out for night time-- but didn't really get in trouble if they found out as i was still in neighbourhood--and when we moved to NJ-- both sisters were out of house and parents pretty much let me do what i wanted-- and be home before 9pm on school night wasn't a big deal to me--and when turned 18 had to be in before dad got up in morning, ie don't wake us up when coming in--so was not a big deal for me-- my mom really surprised a friend when we were leaving to party and she told us not to forget our "raincoats" and he turned and looked at me and said -"it's not raining" --then got it and he was shoked --hahahah--my mom was the nice, slender, woman next door mom

a free pass for SO-- hmm not really sure who she would want--maybe tom selleck, or patrick swayze of roadhouse not now--ugg--
