Oh My G-d! Noo! Not Monday, Again!
I think work should start on Tuesday. And it should end on Thursday. And we should be able to alternate field trips to foreign countries. And... then the alarm clock goes off. Have you ever had the urge to hurl that clock against a wall? It's as if the alarm is saying, "Get up, now! Get your ass out of bed and turn this alarm off so I can sleep while your toiling away at work, paying for my electricity." Oh man, that clock is toast tonight! We live by the clock. At work we watch the clock to see how much time we have left. Watching it, willing it to move faster. We counting every minute, even second, until it's time to go home. Then we live by our other clock. Our personal clock is the opposite. We grab on with both hands, trying to stop time. I blink and it's past my time to sleep. I'm not old enough to even think about retiring, and not young enough to quit and just go to school full time. I'm in hell.
