Social Injustice Aside... How Was Your Day?
It is fucking cold outside! The weather guy said it hasn't hit the 40s F' yet and it's almost 8 AM. This is one of those days when you get an idea of what the phrase "Colder than a witches' tit" really means. That's cold, man! I'm sure all of you who deal with 'real' weather are flipping me off about now. I'd probably be in a fetal position in front of a fire if I ever had to live back East. I told a friend of mine that I loved the rain. He asked how much rain we actually got a year. "12 inches." He hung up on me. As if it's my fault he lives in the East. Last night we had 4 after-shocks from an earlier earthquake. That's right, not only do we get to deal with the earthquakes, but each one has after-shocks for years to come. I was chatting with my friend when it happened. She kept asking me, "Are you serious?" I guess the fact that I didn't scream and duck under the table seemed strange. I guess we all have a semi-casual air about earthquakes because they happen semi frequently. My upstairs neighbors are here on a visa from the UK, so they weren't happy campers. She kept saying [loudly], "I do not like this. Not one BIT." I finally yelled, "I'd rather have the earth move figuratively myself, but that goes without saying." Check out the latest gallery, folks!
