what do you guys think of the current state of the environment? I realise its a very contentious issue to some folkes and a non event to others. Its an issue that has made george dub ya one of the top ten most hated men in this country. For the record I live in an area that would be flooded if the current trends in global warming continue. I also live in a country that has the highest incidence of skin cancers any

We are attempting in this country to rectify some of the damage of the last 200yrs although its a case of too little too late. Erosion and salination are already destroying some of out best farm land. We continue to farm hard footed animals such as sheep, cattle, goats, etc. In a country that untill 200yrs ago had never seen any hard hoofed animals at all. Planting a few token tree`s here and there just wont change a thing. Its sad that I cant blame george dub ya for any of this but its all our own doing. So we have to shoulder the blame for that one our selves.
Just as we have to shoulder the blame for introduced species of flora and fauna that are ravaging this country. Feral cats in this country are wiping out native species in this country on a weekly basis. Most people around the world know of kangaroos that stand over seven feet high. At the same time most dont know they come as small as a mouse as well. How ever dont run out and learn about them because they will probably be extinct by the time you do.
Any way enough of my rant How does changes in the environment affect you? How will they impact your future ? Or wont they?
