Actually, I did. There's something about these types of psyche-test presentations that I like as an artform. I don't know why.
The worst one I've seen so far? Titicut Follies. It's an interesting film, but so, so draining and horrifying at points.
The point of this test? I didn't get it. It annoyed more than anything for me.

It's not a real experiment. It's a fictional segment from The Parallax View in which Warren Beatty's character is subjected to a series of tests to discover whether he is psychotically suggestible enough to be one of the Parallax Corporation's political assassins. Hence the dissonant fugue state of the categories, music and the transition of the "ME" segment from baby through abused child to triumphant superhero. The entire point is to nudge a weak mind towards conformity, and the implication of the scenes following is that Beatty's reactions confirm the Corporation's suspicions that he is not a real psychopath, but someone pretending to be one for reasons of his own.

Thank you, Amaurote! That makes far more sense now.
Huh. Now I want to see this movie.

It's a great film, but a little neglected these days - possibly because it combines a mainstream actor with a peculiar directorial style.
Have you seen Titicut Follies? It's a way bizarre movie, and unfortunately real. I think you'd enjoy it...I can possibly Rapidshare it for you if you're interested.

I haven't, no - reading the synopsis, it looks a bit like something Wolfgang Huber might have written, which is always good. I've added it to my list of things to see on Facebook.
