It's about 1:30am and I am woken up to the sound of a police radio and flashing lights illuminating the bedroom. Apparently there was a hit and run and the police chose our driveway to park in front of to take report. I tried waking Jake up only to hear him say, "Rawr! Rawr! Oh yeah!" *blink* At this point I didn't even want to know what he was dreaming about and decided that waiting the noisy cop car out was the best plan of action. I fell back asleep sometime after 2am.
It's funny how people who work the night shift forget that the rest of us are sleeping. The cops stood there chatting, both doors open so the radio was loud and even commenting about the guy giving report. Part of me wanted to yell, "SHHHHHH!" out the window. Luckily the part of me that didn't want to land my happy ass in jail nixed that idea. But the real theme of this rant is "Rawr! Rawr! Oh yeah!". :|
