Peon? I Didn't Pee On Anything! Oh Wait...
Have you ever known someone who is in serious need of being bitch slapped? I'm not just talking about a back hand to the cheek. I'm talking about a double twirl and face first into the carpet. why do I ask? So my supervisor decides to go on another power trip... Destination Me. I sit down and she starts bitching about how work isn't being done on time. I point out that I'm a week early on all of my work. Apparently I have the 'potential' of being late. No shit, Sherlock. That's like saying I have the 'potential' of reaching over the desk and bitch slapping your puny ass into next week. Realistically though... the work's going to be done on time and her jaw is unfortunately staying intact. Why is it such a big deal to make someone feel like they're not doing their job? How productive is it, really? This bitch pulls everyone into her office and makes them feel like shit. Not only that, but she makes them hate her. How can you like someone who's only reaction to you doing your job is that you could be doing better. I don't even bother saying good morning to her anymore. She just looks right past you. Not even a grunt or a nod. The fact that she doesn't even try to be pleasant just blows me away. I'm not expecting a group hug. blinking in my general direction would be a start. It's not like my job is a popularity contest. Like me. Hate me. I don't give a shit. Just as long as you can work with me on a professional level. But to go out of your way to make someone feel that they've been doing something wrong so that you can justify lecturing them like a child is asinine. If you can't prove your worth without disproving someone else's'... Obviously you're not worth shit.
I wish I had the passion to go out and start my own business. I could make my own hours and work out of my house. Imagine just jumping out of bed, making yourself some coffee and starting work. No business suits, or traffic jams. You're always on time, too. That would be a first for me. Being able to make my own hours would be heaven. No more alarm clocks... Ever! That would be sweet. Of course I'd have to shoot off a memo every month about how production needs to be more efficient and doing personal projects on Company time is frowned upon. I wouldn't want to miss being at my 'old' job now, would I? Hmmm... If I masturbate would that be considered Sexual harassment?
