Hi!
So my boss is an asshole. I think we have already established that. She calls me on the intercom and tells me to check my email. Then she hangs up. So I check my email. Lo and behold there is an email from her. What does it say? "Will you have the report done today?" Why the hell didn't she just ask me when she was on the phone with me? She asked me to fax some important papers for her. Then she follows me there to make sure I sent them right. Like faxing requires a degree all of the sudden. I finally had it and asked her if she would like to do it. Then she left. My coworkers are pretty cool. She's the pain in the arse. She calls in one of the ladies to her office. So I yell, "Dead man walking." My boss popped her head out of doorway so fast she looked like a weasel. Then again, she looks that way naturally. I just gave her a big smile as if to say, " See, I'm smiling. Isn't that funny?" What could she do but laugh. Or was that a grimace?
It rained today. Mind you, I'm talking California rain. Sprinkle. But everyone was talking about the first storm of the season. Man, are we a bunch of wimps. While everyone one is chatting away about windshield wipers, etc... and I blurt out, "I'm just glad I don't have to wash my car." Silence. I grabbed my cup of coffee and slithered away.
