We've been hit by a few spammers lately which annoys me to no end. Even worse is that some are posting on threads instead of creating new ones which makes it harder to spot if someone has posted after.

I appreciate the PMs when you see a spammer but the easiest way to report one is to use the Report button http://www.nochicktrix.com/forum/images/buttons/report.gif in the upper right corner of the post. This should send an email to ALL moderators so that the first one who is able to get to the thread can move it to the moderator's corner and ban the person before they post any more.

Again, click this button to report any spamming, flamming, etc... : http://www.nochicktrix.com/forum/images/buttons/report.gif

In all seriousness, let us know ASAP, especially if they've placed non-worksafe content in an originally worksafe thread. I can do bans and deletions from my phone browser, so that alleviates any problems of accessing said thread from work computer.

I was looking for a report button when that robot posted the question about if they could chat about software and upload MP3s, but I couldn't find it, so I posted in the thread and checked IRC, but neither you or Jake were on.

Just as an FYI, the most recent influx of spammers have .ru (Russia) and .ca (Canada) and .cn (Canada) domain names. I just deleted 3 of them with .ca and .cn suffixes.

And all of them have nonsensical bullshit gibberish names, so if you see any threads started by usernames like "JimmyNommahaha", "IndreBlejka", "Unforgiven", "fosul", "Poseidon", "James", "Jannarijam", "entipy", etc., it's best to stay away from them until a moderator gets them, kthx :D
