Yes, although in fairness, I'd talked to them extensively beforehand.

No. No reason, really, I just seen no evidence of predestination.

No. I tend to assume the worst.

4. Have you ever had a negative opinion of someone until you met them? Details.
Many people. See #3. I've also met many others, and usually it turns out well.

Yes, see #1. It turned out great.

1. Have you ever fallen for someone the first time you met them? Details.
Yes. It was Jeremy actually. The first time I ever laid eyes on him, I was awestruck by his perfect pale skin, blue eyes, and "aristocratic" demeanor. He is such an articulate man. I didn't know what to do. So I downed a bottle of wine and swam on his carpet. His roommate had to drive me home and carry me up the stairs. I guess Jeremy liked me too.


2. Do you believe in fate? Why or why not?
I believe that we all hail from previous lives. And in our next life our souls are intertwined and our paths meet through out various phases of our life. I don't want to call it "fate" exactly. But perhaps kindred spirits.

3. Have you ever had a positive opinion of someone until you met them? Details.
I believe that I've liked pretty much everyone that I meet until they either start lying to me, trying to manipulate me or others around me, or are too full of drama. I hate drama.

4. Have you ever had a negative opinion of someone until you met them? Details.
Yes. My sister's boyfriend. I thought he was a prick the first time I met him. Turns out, we are so much alike. Abrasive, loud, and inappropriate. Now he's totally cool.

5. Have you ever met someone in person after talking to them online? How'd it turn out.
Yup. My buddy Austin, and my buddy Chris. I met them one at a time through the Champions of Norrath message board forum. I met Chris first in Louisiana, (cos' Jeremy had a bowling tournament there) and he was awesome. It's too bad his step-son committed suicide with Chris's hand gun. The poor man was broken, and fell off the face of the earth. Changed phone numbers and stopped all contact with Austin and I. Austin and I have hung out a lot when he's in town. He got me started on a local beer here called "Kiltlifter". He also drives like a maniac, and we both were cheering on the postal workers in their mail trucks once when we were drunk. He is always there for my birthday too. He's a swell, but one trucker of a guy. :D

Yes. It was JakeD. After six months of talking online we finally met. I picked him up at the bus station and I remember being really nervous and then seeing a tall good looking guy wearing a wife beaters shirt and a cowboy hat walking towards me with a big smile. I swooned. Heh.

2. Do you believe in fate? Why or why not?
Yes. I believe that things happen for a reason. I've had horrible things happen and then later on it turned out to be something I could help someone else using. It turned into one of those 'oh, so that's why' moments.

Oh yes. .

4. Have you ever had a negative opinion of someone until you met them? Details.
Yes. .

5. Have you ever met someone in person after talking to them online? How'd it turn out.
Quite a few people actually!

JakeD: (you all know how that turned out. Heh.) He's exactly like he is online, except the butt sex (thank G-d). Funny, witty, smart and I can talk to him for hours about so many things and never be bored.
Bane: Dearest and best friend, even though we don't talk as much. He's exactly like he is online. Sarcastic, witty, smart and can keep you in stitches for hours.
Kittyroze and Caufield: Fabulous experience. They are great friends and we hang out every weekend. Both are just as sweet and funny as online. Kind hearted and really an absolute joy to be around.
Pos (and gf Becky): We had a complete blast meeting him in San Diego. He's just like online and a great guy. I wished we could have hung out longer.
Audie: It was fun. She talked our faces off and was a joy to meet.
Roach: Another person who's just like online. I don't talk to him as much but he's always been a great guy to talk to.
Sunny: Quiet, sweet and kind. I really enjoyed talking to him.
Jellybean: Another sweetheart. He is smart, funny and always helping people.
Morty: Almost the same as online. A tad more reserved. But still fun to hang out with and great to talk to.
An old member of the forum (not named): It turned out alright on the trip, although ultimately notsomuch...

Yes. To my regret. I spent three of the worst years of my life cause of it.

Fate is what you make of it.

I'm very pessimistic , so no.

4. Have you ever had a negative opinion of someone until you met them? Details.
Look above. However I have met some people that were just to cool not to like.

5. Have you ever met someone in person after talking to them online? How'd it turn out.
The closest I have come was talking on the phone with Diva, Jake, Sue, Nurse , Compy and Trek. I have enjoyed that. Beyond that the only people I talk to online that I have seen in person are Eq ,Grace and my niece Amanda. But I knew them long before we were ever online.
