If Ignorance Is Bliss... Stupidity Must Be Euphoria
I just don't understand corporate thinking. First came the memos. Then there were memos to remind you to read the first memo. Then there was a third memo telling you that the attached copy was the first memo in case you didn't receive or had lost it. Then middle management came in and copied all of the memos, and distributed them to make sure everybody got a copy. Kiss-ass. Soon, people started to complain about all of the wasteful paper being used. Along came the email. No you get email memos. Then management sends you a copy in case you didn't get the first email. Middle management pulls its head out of upper management's ass and sends off a copy for 'those who aren't on the mailing list'. Even though the names are in the 'forwarded to' section, I might add. Pet employee comes along, PRINTS a copy of the memo and distributes to everyone who DIDN'T ask for it. Middle management decides it's a good idea to keep a printed copy and gives everyone folders so that they can print a copy and keep it for future reference. When do I know it's a copy? When the words "Have you seen this?" are on it. Now I have emails, printed memos, folders with printed memos.... The ironic part? I still don't read the damn things!
