so have you had a here's your sign moment recently?


my wife and i went to local town on motorcycle--both wearing helmets and carried them into supermarket-- put them on counter when checking out and cheker says "you guys riding a motorcycle", i said " no i just wanted to carry a helmet around today"--she was confused and then figured i was busting on her

i really wan't to just say--here's you sign and see if she got it--but of course thought of that later

We tend to get Logan with one of those at least every day - even if we don't actually use the "Here's your sign" words. I can't think of *my* most recent one, but I'm sure I've had one. ;)

I've said it before- the idiots that come up to me when I'm bringing my boat out (or putting it in ) the water: "Are you out there ALL BY YOURSELF??" or "Where's your HUSBAND?" I always want to answer "I threw the fuckwad overboard & he's swimming in. Oops- I don't see his head any more- guess he drowned." OR "What's the matter- aren't I supposed to be able to navigate a boat unless I have a penis?"

The people that sit & watch me walk to the water with a fishing rod in my hand after watching me park- "Catch anything yet?" I just bite my upper lip & stare at them until they walk away- but some of them actually stand there & wait for me to answer.....

Same thing last week - came in to work sweaty in a wifebeater, shorts, and my helmet under my arm - co-worker said "Rode your bike today?"

No, I have fucking epilepsy and I keep the helmet around in case I feel a fit coming on.
