As you know, I have NO maternal instinct whatsoever. The idea of getting knocked up and have something growing inside me, makes me think of... Alien. Remember when that suckers explodes out of the crewman's stomach? I think that was less painful then the actual birthing process. Why do people want you to 'feel the baby kicking'? I've had women actually grab my hand and put it to their stomach. Of course the retching and recoiling with a look of terror assures me that they only do it once. What do they expect? Like it will magically start my biological clock or something. I feel that thing kicking in there my uterus shrivels up. It's just not high on my list of things to be: bloated, puking, expanding girth, hungry for funky foods, something moving around inside me pushing on my bladder and almost 9 months of PMS like emotions...
