Torn Between Vengeance and Friendships
And the hits just keep on coming. My Squid maybe going to whatever destination if... when war is declared. Although the inkblot never posts on my board [G-d I love teasing him], I consider him a friend just the same. Heh. When you sit there in stunned silence and watch the horror unfold, unable to do anything about it... It feels like a part of that blast is happening inside my heart. Now the media is testing the waters for their sensationalism to start kicking in. You can practically hear them fighting fro a prime spot where someone has actually died. Mind you, there is no body, but they are good at improvising. Shit. They'll just add a 'simulated' body. Meanwhile the men and women of New York struggle to exist in this war zone. Grown men with tears in their eyes. I have cried so damn much my tears are on layaway.
I would like to comment on my friend, GravCrash, who owns ArsonFactor. Sometimes we become so enraged [me included] that we do not listen to the actual statements being made. I read your update and I sympathize with your view. After all, I am not the one going to a foreign and fight hate one on one. The saying, 'Be careful what you wish for... You might get it' comes to mind. While I wish for the complete destruction of those who's only real function is to destroy the delicate balance of love and patriotism. I pray that you and Squid will never have to face that journey... ~ Diva.
I know we are becoming saturated with the pictures and such... But Consumption Junction had a link to a site that made my heart ache to the core, and yet swell with pride. The photographs will take your breath away. At the end there is an editorial by the Boston Herald's Leonard Pitts Jr. I couldn't resist putting up his words here, also. Just in case the pictures were too much to bare.
