View Full Version : But... But It's So Good!
I came across a Men's Health article on the 20 Worst Foods in America (http://www.menshealth.com/cda/article.do?site=MensHealth&channel=nutrition&category=smart.dining.out&conitem=e5faa9006ecf5110VgnVCM20000012281eac____&page=5) and almost choked at the number one.
Outback Steakhouse Aussie Cheese Fries with Ranch Dressing 2,900 calories 182 g fat
240 g carbs
We went with Kitty and Caufield once and devoured those fries, extra dressing and all. It's hard to see some of the best tasting food on there... because it makes it almost impossible to enjoy knowing what's in it.
What are some of the worst foods (health wise) that you love to eat? Does knowing how bad they are for you make you not eat it as much?

philly pizza cheesesteak
take the steak and cook it with onions, add in provolone, swiss and cheddar cheese, till it's all a goopy mess then add in pizza sauce, and put bun on grill to sear it--then drag the bun across the grill to get all the great drippings and slosh all ingredients into bun--yumm--
but can't find anyone who knows how to cook a philly cheesesteak int he south

I actually like BigMacs...but I don't have them that often...even if you told me they were made of cardboard I would probably eat them...
Cardboard can taste good if you add enough flavour.
I've been living of of pizza. So I doubt I'm eating very healthy. But when I have an urge for something, I will eat it for days then not touch it again for months.

What do I get if I make you a good philly?
Honestly, I don't care how bad food is for me. If I like it, I'll eat it.

Chicken fried steak. I just can't pass it up. I KNOW how bad it is for me, and I just can't bring myself to care.

I'm lucky, I suppose. I've always found fairly healthy food to be my preference, just out of taste. I love salads. I don't really care for cakes and sweet food, etc.
I'm not a health nut, and I love pizza and whatnot, but veggie subs from subway are my standard diet, for example.

Im a sucker for desserts and cakes. No matter how full I am already, if I eat out I always need dessert too.

I love food...whether it be healthy or not.
And I have the biggest sweet tooth ever...There was that one day (last week) where I basically ate chocolates all day...and drank coke.

Zuppa Toscana (Olive Garden recipe, but it's online, so now even I can make this stuff)
Breakfast burritos. Most of them are some of the most godawful starch-bombs ever, but I'll be damned if I can't stay away.
I make my own healthy alternatives, sure, but I've got a secret mission to try the breakfast burrito at each and every roach-coach(taco truck) and taqueria I come across.
