But... It's For Kitty Litter!

We went all out last year and bought an electric kitty litter box after a friend raved about it. We were told to get LitterMaid (http://www.littermaid.com/) brand and it worked perfectly... for a little over a year. Granted it's being used for three cats instead of two so the lifespan is slightly diminished. Last month we went out to buy another one which seemed to work perfectly... until this morning. Exactly one month and five days later it has died. I saved the receipt but I don't know how well that's going to do me since it's over the 30 day store warranty and I don't have the box it came in. This probably means I'm going to have to contact the support line for this product... and I never registered it. I am bad at product registration to begin with, so filling out info on a kitty litter box just seemed... silly. I just hope they don't expect me to send it to them for repair. :|
