Eleven At Night? What Have I Been Doing? Myself..
The Web can be one big recycler. Pictures I saw when I first started surfing the web are popping up as the 'Weekly' picture. Finding a picture you haven't seen before is like finding a diamond in the ocean. There's nothing more disappointing than clicking on a picture and saying, " I thought I recognized that cock." Not to mention the other 'issues' that come to mind. Did I overstay my porn cycle? Am I supposed to be bored with it by now? Kinda makes you feel like the last one at a party and the hosts are in their PJs.
As you all know, I started this site for fun. No banners, etc... I haven't even fathomed putting myself into the Top Sights that are out there. Not that I'd know which category I fit into. Which is cool beyond belief. Nor do I feel that my site is ready for that kind of exposure... It will be soon [hint, hint]. I also haven't done the 'chit chat link' route. You know, the 'hey I like your site..... We should exchange links." I actually had to ask my friend what the hell that entails. Brown plain envelopes sliding underneath the table. Morse code... Saying, "One. Two. Three. Go!!" So here's the shpeel. I like visiting sites. If I visit a site that I really enjoy and plan on visiting again, I want to share it with the people who come to read my updates. If you think I would enjoy your site, send me a link. Non committal. The same goes with my site. Don't link my page if your viewers aren't into whatever you call this type of site. I hate clicking a link, thinking it's gonna be a site with simular or equally entertaining content, only to be slammed with pop ups, or off the topic content. When someone links me, it makes me feel like they enjoyed my site and want to share the fun. If someone links me out of some exchange program it's like selling my site. If you link me, I'd like to know.. I love finding new places to play. But, if you have wall to wall ads, or those fucking pop ups, I'm outta there. Especially that damn web cam pop up that spans the monitor. I hate that thing!! Or if you don't support Netscape [hey JB], at least let me know. I learned the hard way that I won't be able to view those sites like they were designed to be. I plan on building up my links page into different categories, including Webmaster links, music, etc... so the possibilities are endless.
That being said... My friend and I were chatting when he mentions that SomeIdiot.com (http://www.someidiot.com/) linked me. I felt like a kid at Christmas. And I'm Jewish! I go to their web site and sure enough, their June 24th update is linking me. They even said some props for my site. Oddly enough, I've never been there. But it turns out to be a place I'm going to visit. I have to update my links page, so don't start bitching. Here's a special thanks to a site named after my ex. Which one? Does it matter?
