Have any of you ever fallen asleep at work? If yes, how the heck did you manage to get away with it?
(I type this with droopy eyelids. I am soooo tired today.)
:snore:
Yeah, I have.
I just laid my head down and slept. LOL.
Used to sleep on the clock all the time when I had to commute to Austin. I wasn't driving. I saw no reason to stay awake.
I sleep at work on occasion, but it's when I'm off the clock. Usually a quick nap if the bus is too early or if I'm feeling unusually sleepy during a lunch break. Otherwise, no thanks. Too many department heads passing through my space for me to do that while on the clock.

If i had a desk job on the other hand I think I would have done that a few times.

years ago i flew to mass to help open a new store-- we were there for a week (i was opening a kitchen department in a home improvement store) anyway we worked from 7am till 11pm then went out to drink then back to store in morning--as there was alot of us there sometime during day i would climb behind a large box, stole a pillow and fall asleep for 2 hours or so--my boss wondered where i disappeared to--and since i didn't snore (at that ttime) he never found me--hehehehe
in present job have never slept, but previous boss would go out for lunch do crack, come back and in office with door would fall asleep-- ( i didn't know about the crack at that time)-i always wondered why he didn't close door--but we took picture of him and put it in bi-monthly newsletter--he was pissed but didn't really know who took pic--

I wish I could... :sleepy:
I did when I worked at the machine shop. I'd go and use the "facilities" and catch 10-15 mins. Unfortunately, where I work now, my desk faces the main walkway through the office, so there's no way to pull it off.
New doctor presenting his program on Wednesday...I could hardly stay awake. Nice guy, interesting topic, plus it's cool to learn the medical/surgical side of things, but I was seriously nodding off hard while taking notes. It sucked because I was pretty much sitting right in front of him. :/

And this is why you should sit in the back of the room.
