So much for new friends. It's so hard to meet new people. Especially people who share your interests, likes and dislikes. I thought that I had found a place to go and be myself (as abrasive as that can be at times) and meet new people. My search continues. Chat rooms suck. They mainly consist of people who say obnoxious no conent phrases, and others looking for sex chat. No intellegent conversation. No common likes and dislikes. Just things like "I just farted" and "What color are your panties". my one experience with the singles ads was enough. The forums were a bust, too. They all offer different sections to get together and shoot the breeze. They all encourage people to sign up and get to know one another. Unfortunately for me, the level can only be chit chat. As I'm sure you have noticed (quite a few more I see. Welcome) I quite the forward no holds barred kinda of gal. I'm an adult. I like discussing on the edge, over the top issues. I thrive when I can just be me. Sadly enough, there aren't that many places out there that allow adult content. I know, I know... there are a lot of under the age of 18 webmasters out there. Once again, I find more and more restrictions based on individuals who technically are the responsibility of their parents. Free speech equals smut rooms. The saddest part is that I really liked going to this one forum. Everyone was so nice. So helpful. So patient. They gave me great ideas. They made me laugh. And when one gave all that they could to explain the process, another would jump in and give it a try. I don't think that anyone left without an answer. But, the bottom line is that this page is who I am. I would never dream of stifling a view or asking someone to tone down who they were. And I can't do that to me. The end result? I move on. It seems that my luck in finding a niche is far from over. I call the internet one big E/N site. Everyone/No one. Everyone seems to be on it. No one is connecting. If the spirit moves you, connect! don't travel through all of these sites without leaving a reference. If you like something, tell them! Hate it? Tell the webmaster! If people wanted to express themselves silently, they'd buy a diary. They have chosen to share their views with whomever wants to listen. This is a way to connect. To meet people who believe the same things, or share a debate with those who do not. The next site that you visit on your daily stops, or mine if you feel compelled, look around and see if anything is worth commenting on. Trust me.... The human connection is a beautiful thing. More precious than any gem, more fragile than any china. so enjoy the galleries that offended some people already!:
