I buy motorcycle parts from Ebay, I get email alerts when any parts for a HONDA REBEL are listed.
A few days ago I was alerted to an auction which I really made me smile, it was for a rear wheel. Brand new from a dealer this wheel would cost me 300GBP. I watched the auction till one day before the end, at that time no bids at all, I placed a bid for 80GBP and a day later got the wonderful news that I had won the auction. Three other bidders placed bids but only went up to 51GBP, bloody tight gits.
Saturday morning the doorbell rang and it was a postman with a rather large box, HEY it was my wheel, I opened the box to see a brand new shiny rear wheel. WHAT A RESULT, I saved a small fortune.
I must admit I was taking a bit of a risk here, I don't normally buy stuff of Ebay over £50 but it was something for my Rebel which is why I was willing to take a chance. It was worth it!!
