Check this out. I'm somewhere between Syracuse and Binghamton on this map. They're calling for winds near 60mph, hail, sleet, rain, etc.

hamilton, for those who don't know, is slightly west of buffalo...and as you can see basically completely passed us (me & thestarsfall) by (except a little blue...the countryside is blue now :confused:)

Ummm...I have to agree with that one. Hurricanes makes me VERY NERVOUS since Hurricane Katrina tore me a new asshole. :(

I LOVE Hurricanes, as long as they're NOT like Katrina. And as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.

BTW- if you find Utica & Albany & find a point half way between, that's where I live. A little shithole town called Fonda- originally settled by Henry Fonda's great great uncles. The surrounding area is farmland, but the town bites.

True, but hurricanes could be considered art too, as art is meant to bring emotions (and not just joy and wonder...they can make you scared and nervous as well)

I want to someday see a tornado, I have never seen one....

I used to say "I want to see a tornado before I die" and ppl made fun of me cuz theyre like "yeah...RIGHT before you die"

I love the sheer awesome power that nature has. And I am sure that tornados and hurricanes and volcano eruptions are things of beauty if humans were not in the path of destruction. If we were all safe and sound and were able to somehow watch them it would be beautiful because we would know no ones getting hurt. :)
