I am still in the midst of upgrading but figured I would start a "Hey, you fucked this up" thread. Please post any problems here. I will post another thread with all the new options later.
Please post exactly what the issue is, what the error message is and what you were trying to do.
(below are the issues we are already aware of and working on... ~ bane)
1. Front page wonky: *sigh* I will have to wait until morning to sort this out.
2. Last post icon goes to invalid message: I also ran some updates which should have fixed this... Let me know.
3. Missing LOGIN on front page: Go me! I have to try and replace that. :/ FIXED
4. Read More link on front page doesn't work.
5. Dropdowns don't work in some areas. - I think I fixed this ~Bane
6. Shoutbox doesn't load correctly all the time. -hack-o-matic repair ~Bane

Clicking on that link/button brings up error message: "No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"
EDIT: OK, replying on that thread "fixed" that problem, but it was still weird.
I like it so far. I had thought there was no shout box at first. But I saw it in the forums. I like it.

It looks that way on my PC. I just figure the front page isn't done yet.

Can you tell me what happens when you try to do a shout? Was it just text or smilies? What does the error message say?
I tried twice to use the shout box (each time using text) and it didn't work.
Sorta is right. Looks like 3.6.3 to me. :P

when I log out I get an error message "an error has occured".
Shoutbox works with me.

I type what I want in the space, hit SEND....... and nothing happens.

Windows XP (pro and home) on DSL through a router (wireless if on laptop)
I have: Windows XP professional (sp2),Microsoft internet explorer 6.0 (sp2), I have broadband, but my deal means I slow down after a certain amount downloaded (256K to 33K).

Windows XP- upgrade edition. Dialup.:( As I'm typing this, I'm upgrading to IE7.
Everything works for me now except the shout box- I'll try it again after the download is finished & let you know if it still doesn't work.

Diva, help!! I can't shout!!! I type the text in..insert a smiley...and...NOTHING. Don't get a message or anything. I tried it several times without different results. Haven't had a chance to post much...but so far no problems with any of the threads.

That's the error I get when trying to view the members gallery. Same thing with the main gallery.
The shoutbox is more than likely going to have to be replaced. It seems to be, for lack of a better term, a steaming pile of shit.
The galleries will also be out of commision for a bit until we sort the forums out. They require an upgrade as well.
Posting seems to be faster now. Or it could be my imagination. :|
when I click on the logout button a screen appears to tell me an error happened when I tried to logout. I have to use the link provided to logout.
SHOUTBOX
I've made some modifications that should make it usable and show consistantly.
I've also added a manual refresh feature to it for those of you who weren't able to see it at all. You should be able to click the "not loading?" link to make it pop open. Please let me know if it doesn't work. For those of you it was working for, please let me know if this breaks it for you. :P
LOGOUT
It's done that for a while for me. Hopefully this is something I can figure out down the road, for now simply click the link that shows on that page and it logs you out fully.
VALIDATION
The front page now loads with no glaring parse errors. Purely for my benefit. =D

Well the logout isn't really that much of a pain, just bung that to the bottom of the FIX LIST.
NurseNancy - What exactly happens when you try to use the shoutbox? Are you able to see previous shouts? Is there any error when you attempt to shout?

I can see the other shouts. No error messages come up. I type when I want in and go to shout...but NOTHING. It just stays the same.:confused:

Apparently IE doesn't allow a form within a form, even if the secondary form serves no involved function. Yay to IE. All hail the king!

Where are you clicking on the thread from? Is it front page or Today's Threads? Have you tried clicking on the forum and then the thread? Please tell me which of these you did and could not find. Thanks!

I know which post, sweets. ;) I wanted to know how she was clicking to get there. Was it from the front page, the Latest Threads or the NSFW forum? That way I can narrow down where the error is coming from.

That happened to me too. They have an anti cheater mode that causes havoc if you try and refresh or backspace to go the the game again. It's annoying... ONLY your highest score will be saved though. So do you mean you beat an old score and it didn't save?

We are now completely on the new server...
I am kind of giddy about it. The database took over 50 minutes to import on the old server. On this one it took 4 minutes.

Oy. I was so glad to just be done with the upgrade I didn't comment on the new features. My bad.
Multiquote: If you have several posts in a thread you want to reply to you simply click on the multiquote button for each post. Then click Reply. They should all be quoted and ready for your response!

I guess I should have told you about this a bit earlier. When I click on the "logout" button when I'm on the homepage I get the NCT "404 ERROR" page. I normally logout on one of the forum pages and sometimes from the gallery and I don't have a problem.
Are the journals gone? Or am I just not finding the links?

Yeah. I had that one listed in the thread (http://www.nochicktrix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11168) with the hacks I couldn't find updates for.
