Religion has always been one of my week points. I could never quite understand all of the contradictions.

Pagan idols. We're not supposed to have them. G-d tells Moses, Moses tells the people, Macys' has a sale and G-d gets the proverbial middle finger.

There are other "idols" that I think are Pagan. Which ones are and what are your thoughts on the use of them. I'll put the soapbox up for Marie.

Money, power, the weather elements, a mountain? Guess it depends on how you define 'pagan'.

As in the Bible. G-d does not want people to worshop fase G-ds. Before then, they worshiped everything under the sun. Hell, even the sun, too. Of the choices above, do you see false idol that is worshiped?

Just tought I'd a comment on the Christmas tree: if my memory doesn't delude me, the christmas tree is a true pagan symbol as it was used in Celtic rites.

(reffering, of course to the original topic)
