1. How often do you usually get sick each year?
About 2-3 times a year (mainly colds)
2. Which is worse to catch: a cold or the flu?
neither, both seem the same to me
3. Do you plan to get a flu shot? Why or why not?
no, I don't fall into the correct criteria
4. What are your favorite home remedies for cold and flu symptoms?
home made lemsip, hot water with lemon and some painkillers
crushed with a spoonful of honey.
5. When you're sick do you take "sick days" or do you force yourself to continue working?
If I'm sick I take time off to recover, in my line of work riding
a motorcycle all day when unwell could be dangerous to me
and other people.

(has this got to do with me taking a week off work because of my recent cold??)

I would like to point out that I'm self employed, taking days off means no money.

1. How often do you usually get sick each year?
usually as many times as the people I'm around. If someone has a cold, I will end up getting it. So ballpark number, maybe 8 times?
2. Which is worse to catch: a cold or the flu?
the flu. can't do anything/don't want to move when I have the flu. THankfully, I haven't gotten it in years.
3. Do you plan to get a flu shot? Why or why not?
Nope. I haven't gotten it in the past few years since they started offering it, and I haven't gotten the flu in that time either, so why ruin a good thing?
4. What are your favorite home remedies for cold and flu symptoms?
lots of cold medicine that makes me all loopy and drunk and then I giggle all day even though I can't breathe out of my nose...oh, and I also start dancing to disco music in the middle of the grocery store....damn cold medicine
5. When you're sick do you take "sick days" or do you force yourself to continue working?
so far, when I had a cold at work, I had to keep going in, because I don't get any sick days until I'm done training...but when I am done training, and I have a really really bad cold, I can see taking at least one day off for it...

1. How often do you usually get sick each year?
A few, I suppose. I don't really keep up with it.

2. Which is worse to catch: a cold or the flu?
The flu!

3. Do you plan to get a flu shot? Why or why not?
Nope. I've never had a flu shot, and I rarely get the flu. If I were to get a shot, I'd be one of the people who got sick from it when otherwise, I wouldn't have been sick. Nope.

4. What are your favorite home remedies for cold and flu symptoms?
Sleep, television, blankets, sleep, fluids, food, sleep, TLC.

5. When you're sick do you take "sick days" or do you force yourself to continue working?
We don't have "sick days" where I work. I've only called in sick (for myself) twice in seven years. I've come into work, handled my stuff, and left early plenty of times.
