I just missed getting to see Merle Haggard play a stone's throw away from my job. Fuck. :(

What's been your biggest disappointment lately?

For me, being stuck at home with a cold, been off work now four days which isn't normal. Normally two days off work and I go back but this cold is lingering on and I have the mother of headaches.

To be honest, I'm very pissed off.

Ugh. I think I'm getting a cold too - got a hell of a headache, a bit of a fever, and am starting to cough. I've been popping vitamins and bought a big bottle of orange juice from Whole Foods, but I think all that is going to be in vain. Worst part? I have no sick time. :/

Dude, back in July of '98, I was down in Alabama. While I was down there, I called home a couple of times a week to see how things were going. My mom told me that Merle Haggard was playing at a local Country Music park that was about 15 minutes from where I lived at the time. I was PISSED!!

As for biggest dissappointments as of late, it would take to long to list them all, but I think the biggest one would be the problems I'm having with my college classes this semester.

My biggest dissappointment lately was going to the walk-in clinic and finding out that they dont prescribe addictive or narcotic painkillers....

and then having them prescribe me (for my headaches) something which has a side effect of headaches (among other things...)

so when i take them I get headaches still, and I have dizziness and extreme drowsiness....

DAMMIT I wanted narcotics!
