There's a part in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest where Jack Sparrow tries to barter for his soul with Davey Jones. He asks how many souls would be worth his. The price: 100 Souls. After agreeing to 100 souls in three days they part with this exchange:

Davey Jones: Can you live with yourself Jack? Can you live with condemning an innocent man - a friend - to a life of solitude?
Jack Sparrow: Yep, I’m good with it.

What if you were Jack Sparrow? Would you agree to hand over 100 souls to save your own ass?

Now see, I love Jack, not just the Deppster, and deep down, I don't think he really would be able to hand over all those souls and not feel the teeniest bit guilty later on, especially if one of those souls were Will's.....sorry to anyone who hasn't seen the sequel, but I like to think that Jack is a good man like Elizabeth (F***ING C*NT) says at the end....so I picked he would (and myself if put in the position = ew) pay his own debts, in the end

Yep. All those idiots currently prattling on about the impending rapture, whiny woe-is-me life-sucks teenagers....hell, I could have nine lives racked up in three days.

Hey, you didn't say what condition the souls had to be in.
