I'm so new at this... 14 yr. old ditz here. Just chillin' on S/B (Spring Break...) It's icy and cold and friggin' winter-like here in Webster Groves (a little subdivision in St. Louis County). God! you'd think if we had enough money to live here, we'd be able to get the heat to work properly!!! LoL. Anyone else agree? :rolleyes: :kissy:

Thanks. LoL. I tihnk I'm getting used to this. lol. My bro. lives in Acton, CALI. Heard of it? It's about 10 or 20 minutes from LA.
We were both adopted, him first then me. I didn't know his "family" had been looking all over the place for me since he was 8 years old. I had just been adopted when they started looking for me, and my "parents" that adopted me are letting me go live with him over the summer.
How incredibly wonderful! I've never even seen him, except for when I was born and until I was about 2 or 2 1/2, when I was adopted.
That just shows there's lots of love in the world, right? It's really nice to know that he's been looking for me for ELEVEN years... and finally found me. Never gave up.
Turns out my name wasn't really Natalie... it's Kristin. I knew that before, because my "parents" told me, but I'd refused to believe them. I've been called "Natalie" all my life, but I'm going to stick with my original name, I love it so much more!!
And also--if anybody cares--last november I got a box. There were pictures of me and my brother and some other things Mom and Dad left us. Right now Kevin's living only a block away from them.
Kevin's "family" wanted to adopt me, too. About 4 months after they adopted Kevin, but they were a month late.
Life Is Good. Life is Great. Life is unbelieveable.

That's a great story, Kac. You know, I'm adopted also. I know it's a big change, to meet with your brother. Don't forget that your parents are still yours. Everyone one else just brought you in this world. ;)

Meeting them will be a blast, I'm sure. Plus, California is a great place to visit. And it's not too long, I love reading, so post away!
