CEWEL--
wasn't there some speculation that helen might blow up again?
Awhile back they were talking about that it might erupt again. But so much of it was blown away by the last eruption that it wouldn't be as severe if it does again.
I have an even better pic from the e-mail I got this one in. But I can't get it to upload for some reason. I'll post it if I can get it to. It's one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen.

your right that is really beautiful--
but wehat causes the clud to form?
is it the fact that helen is high and that cloud was floating by and someone got a pic?
or because it is high and colder, clouds form around it?
I don't know. I just know it is beautiful.
I have been fascinated with Mt. St. Helens every since my Grandmothers friend gave me a bottle of ashes from the last eruption. It is a truly amazing place.

National Geographic channel had a documentary on it on the anniversary of the eruption. It showed movies of it, did interviews of people that were caught in it & officials that were on duty, & computer programs that show how the whole thing happened. It was awesome!
They just did a documentary on the tsunami, too. Amazing.

Awesome!!! I'd read about this. But that is the best pic of it I have seen.
The top of the new formation in Everest has collapsed and reformed.
