(News (http://www.cosmiverse.com/paranormal03140202.html)) -- Suzanne Marie Olsson just wants to do a little DNA matching, that's all. The New-York based researcher is in Sringagar, the summer capital of Kashmir. She's studying the Muslim shrine of Rozabal and she believes that what she's found there is the final resting place of the body of Jesus Christ.

The Muslim shrine is in Indian-administered Kashmir. Olsson wants to exhume the body in the shrine and extract enough tissue to do some DNA analysis. She is not alone in believing that the tomb contains such a famous occupant: many researchers agree with her assessment. She recently dug up a shrine at the Murree Hill station in Pakistan under the supervision of archaeologists.

The reason? She believes that that tomb contains the body of the mother of Jesus, Mary. The sample was obtained and sent off, and the results of the analyzed DNA are being awaited with great enthusiasm.

Olsson wants to do the same testing on the Rozabal shrine and then compare the two results to see if the two subjects are indeed related. This, she declares, is the only way to prove once and for all who is in the shrine of Rozabal and end the debate.

The managers of the shrine are vehemently opposed to the process, which they believe is equivalent to desecration of the shrine. They are adamant in declaring that they will never allow the testing to take place.

I'm Jewish, but I think that this is desecration of a shine. I see no reason to do this testing. What do they hope to prove, besides the identity? I see nothing good coming of this. And you?

I think that science sometimes wants to know too damn much. Why prove with science a life that is built on faith?
