I hadn't realized what a sweet tooth I had until last night when I was over at Pat's and I suddenly was dying for some chocolate, then chocolate chip cookies, then resse's....it was bad.

What are your sweet tooth cravings like? Do you need to have something cheesy or salty after a bunch of sweet things, like I do? It's so wierd but after a nice chocolate bar, I always want some salted pretzels or something like that....am I nuts?

Nope, not nuts. Of course, mine is a bit backwards from that. I like salty then sweet.

I try not to eat a lot of sweets, because I'm psycho paranoid about my skin (sugar is bad for my skint :/), but if I'm stressed I get cravings for stuff that's really sweet and fattening. I'll go to the store JUST for twinkies or head to Applebees JUST for a blonde (which is probably one of the most orgasmic things I've ever eaten...Hell, I'll go for a blonde even if I'm not stressed....>_>)

Other than that, I listen to what my body demands. If I crave carrots, I'll go eat carrots. If I crave ice cream, I'll go eat a bowl of ice cream. You notice this kind of thing when you're getting over being sick - the cravings, that is. I take cravings as my body telling me there is something in whatever it craves that it needs at that moment.

And if it happens to be sweet and fattening...so be it.

:D

I like blondes, too. And brunnettes, and redheads, and.....

I like salty then sweet

There's a REALLY dirty comment just aching to be let out, but I'll refrain. (Shocker, ain' it?!)

the old joke of students and professor-
a professor was teaching a class on sex ed--
"and class the semen ejected by a man is filled with glucose or sugar
at which point a young girl said "then why doesn't it taste sweet"-as the rest of the class laughed and she got beat red the professor responded
"because my dear the taste buds for sweet are on the front of your tounge not at the back of your throat" :lolrotf:

that had to be added booser

but yes guys also get cravings for sweet chocolate-- i will grab some chocolate chips and peanut butter getting sweet and salty-- of course i could jsut get a reeses peanut butter cup

Every once in a while, I'll crave some German chocolate.

Is that a hint?

As to my sweet tooth, while I like chocolate, lately I've been eating clementines to cure the sweetness craving. In the past I've eaten jelly sandwiches or made milkshakes. I tend to go through phases with what will sate me.

Hint for what? Sometimes I like chocolate, especially that made in Germany.

MMMMMMMM.......... CHOCOLATE!!!!!

I'm a sugar junkie. I've never been addicted to ANYTHING- except sugar. If I can stop eating sugar for about 5 days, I can get away from it & can control my cravings, but the cramps are TERRIBLE. And, yes- they stop when I eat something high carb.

I've gained over 100 lb in the past 10 years from stress & frustration. It was either that or have affairs. I should have had the affairs....
